A Fast Singular Boundary Method for the Acoustic Design Sensitivity Analysis of Arbitrary Two- and Three-Dimensional Structures

This paper proposes a fast meshless scheme for acoustic sensitivity analysis by using the Burton–Miller-type singular boundary method (BM-SBM) and recursive skeletonization factorization (RSF). The Burton–Miller formulation was adopted to circumvent fictitious frequency that occurs in external analysis, then direct differentiation used obtain of sound pressure design variables. More importantly, RSF employed solve resultant linear system obtained BM-SBM. is technique based on multilevel matrix compression, which allows application inverse solving dense matrices. Firstly, BM-SBM boundary-type collocation straightforward accurate owing use fundamental solution. Secondly, introduction solver can effectively reduce requirement computer memory increase calculation scale compared conventional Three numerical examples including two- three-dimensional geometries indicate precision efficiency proposed associated with large-scale complicated structures.
